Local citizens of Devin city reported that the object in the video is a metal umbrella on the road, sought of the city. They call it "Gabkata" - The Mushroom. After Prof. Lazarov published his enquiry for help with identifying the UFO, the video became very popular in Bulgaria. The people of Devin responded immediately and explained that the metal umbrella is a very old sunshade on the road Armonasipi between section №4 и №5. This is a place, where the vehicles can pull over for a short brake. They say that once there was also a bench near the umbrella. You can see a part of someone's hand leaning on the umbrella, probably standing on that bench. The photo was cropped, obviously to protect the identity of the person. However, the person, who sent it, is not anonymous. His identity is known to the people of BUFOM. The photo is obviously an older one, because there is a lot of snow now in the country and getting there is not easy. I know of at least one more picture sent to BUFOM and I believe, more will surface shortly, after the snow storms.

In a few months the umbrella will be removed because begins the building of a big water reservoir on the same place. But it is still there.

Your question about the pole is a valid. Some people think that it got smudged because of the car speed. It still can be vaguely seen on a few frames. The pole is quite thin. I very much hope that this is the case and there was no attempt for forgery. If this is true, then the guys did the right thing to ask BUFOM for help. And, IMO, BUFOM did the right thing to ask people for help.

If this turns out to be a forgery, then the hoaxers will be exposed. Hoaxes shouldn't be encouraged in any way.

I found your message board from a link in the article regarding the video in the All News Web http://www.allnewsweb.com/page1199999311.php . I hope that the info and the picture will get to the right people and the Bulgarian country will be known as one, where forgery and hoaxes cannot survive easily.
